Returns, Exchanges, and Refund Policy

General Policy

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange. Additionally, we do not offer refunds for change of mind.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is required to complete your return.

Non-Refundable Situations

We may refuse a refund in the following circumstances:

  • The item shows obvious signs of use.
  • The item is not in its original condition, is damaged, or has missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • The item is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 14 days.

Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company; processing times may vary.
  3. Contact your bank, as there may be a processing delay.
  4. If you’ve completed these steps and still haven’t received your refund, contact our Customer Service team at 1300 912 198.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items are non-refundable.

Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. To request an exchange, email us at info@funkymonkeybars.com and send your item to your closest location:

Shipping for Returns and Exchanges

You are responsible for covering shipping costs for returns or exchanges. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and if a refund is issued, the return shipping cost will be deducted.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.


Order Cancellations Prior to Dispatch

Customers are entitled to request a cancellation at any time prior to dispatch (before the order has been collected by a courier or shipped).

If your order has not yet been picked and processed for dispatch, a full refund will be issued.

If your order has already been picked and processed, a $200 restocking fee applies to cover preparation and handling costs.

Why is there a $200 restocking fee?

Funky Monkey Bars products are customisable, modular, and include heavy components. Once an order is placed, our team begins preparing and staging components for dispatch. The restocking fee supports:

  • Order Preparation – Picking, packing and assembling components for delivery

  • Restocking – Carefully unpacking and returning items to the warehouse in original condition

  • Logistical & Administrative Costs – Time and resources to reverse preparation and process the cancellation

This ensures we maintain the high-quality service and efficiency expected from Funky Monkey Bars.

 

Cancellations After Dispatch

Once an order has been dispatched (collected from our warehouse or in transit), it will be treated as a change-of-mind return.

  • Products must be returned unused, unopened, and in original packaging

  • A restocking fee of $200 will apply

  • Return freight costs are the responsibility of the customer

Delivery Timeframes & Order Acceptance

For new orders to the Eastern States (NSW, VIC, SA, QLD, NT & ACT) placed after 25 November 2025 3:00PM WST, dispatch is estimated from late January 2026.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept this dispatch timeline and understand that delivery by Christmas cannot be guaranteed.

Existing orders already placed — and orders within Western Australia — remain unaffected and will dispatch as scheduled.

This is the first Christmas we have ever been unable to fulfil new orders in time, and we are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support during this period.

 

ACL Compliance

This policy is governed by the Australian Consumer Law and does not affect your rights relating to faulty or defective products. If your item is faulty, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair depending on the circumstances.
